The Museum has some 15,500 objects in its collection, many are part of the museums permanent display. Each year the museum tries to create three to four special exhibitions that feature something that is perhaps topical or alternatively explore a subject in more depth. As well as physical objects we also have a large number of local photographs and these are available to explore via the museums computers.
