In the new year, I'm hoping to organise a home educated families club. I am looking to make experiences available that are usually only possible in groups, something home Ed families can find difficult. I was wondering whether there was a 'hands on' box of historical artefacts that you loan or take out to schools? We will be meeting within Beccles. Best wishes, Felicity

Apologies for the delay in getting back to but I've only recently taken on the web site and didn't realise we had this method of contact. We don't have any ready made up boxes I'm afraid and we don't normally lend out collectiuons items. The only thing I can think of that may be of interest is that we have a number of pre decimal coins, would any of them be of use? They are pretty dirty but I think there are a number of different denominations.

    To Alan Wheeler.
    Morning Alan
I have been doing more sorting out at Southwold Light Railway, and I have found more photos, newspaper articles, and postcards that are no use to us. Would you like them?

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I've only just discovered this part of our website !. Yes we would love any more items related to Beccles and our local area if you have them. The museum is currently closed due to the virus but if you could hang on to them I would be grateful.
